A new piece, composed in honor of Cantor Benjie Ellen Schiller and Rabbi Lester Bronstein, and performed in a concert, Turn It and Turn It, celebrating their retirement from Bet Am Shalom, White Plains, NY,  The event will also feature tribute compositions written by my wonderful colleagues Josh Breitzer, Richard Cohn, Jonathan Comisar, Ellen and Billy Dreskin, Ben Ellerin, Natasha Hirschhorn, Riki Lippitz, Becky Mann, and Isaac Sonett-Assor. Adonai S’fatai Tiftach was written to be performed at its premiere by a solo quartet of cantors that has loved to sing together in concerts presenting our own and other’s music: Benjie Ellen Schiller, Natasha Hirschhorn, Isaac Sonett-Assor, and myself, with Joyce Rosenzweig as pianist.
