“Join us for DAYENU – the quintessential Passover concert – and the launch of JIVE: Jewish Innovative Voices & Experiences led by producer Ronny Michael Greenberg, the cantorial soloist of Sherith Israel & extraordinary versatile baritone Simon Barrad, internationally acclaimed countertenor Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen and the stunning violinist Elizabeth Castro Greenberg. Through new perspectives, new works and arrangements and representing the rich and diverse Jewish musical traditions, they bring together the themes of freedom, bondage, and resilience.

The program features music from the Prince of Egypt, and by Simon & Garfunkel, Gerald Cohen, Samuel Barber, Robert Owens, Tom Cipullo, Ernest Bloch, and Yiddish songs, Jazz, Cabaret and Operetta composed by Jews who were imprisoned during the Holocaust such as Viktor Ullmann, Ilse Weber and Joseph Beer.
